  The Arches
Our most spacious room, with private bathroom. You enter the downstairs room through two French doors. The skylight nook and recessed lighting provide a warm and bright environment. Masonry arches suggest an Old World ambience.

All guests have access to a large private garden furnished with tables and chairs, as well as a comfortable sitting parlor, all part of what gives Sterling Bed and Breakfast the feeling of being your home away from home.

The parlor, with original wood flooring, is decorated with artwork from everywhere from Africa to the former Soviet Union. Comfortable and spacious, overlooking the street, it is the perfect place to relax, put up your feet or curl up with a book after a day spent exploring museums, strolling across the Brooklyn Bridge, touring Manhattan and environs, or enjoying the Coney Island promenade.

Depending on the season, continental breakfast is offered in the garden or the dining room. Enjoy fresh pastries, aromatic coffee, varieties of tea, and a selection of fresh fruit.
